Private Pilot Helicopter Add-On

UZAIR specializes in vertical helicopter flight training with the R-22 Beta II Trainer per FAR 61 Regulations. The student must meet the following requirements shown below. Requirements are based on a Private Pilot Helicopter Add-On rating.

Hold a Airplane private pilot certificate.
- Hold a current 3rd Class Medical Certificate.
UZAIR will provide the following vertical IFR Helicopter Flight Training per FAR 61 Regulations as follows:

19 HRS of Ground Training
- 10 HRS R-22 Beta II Trainer Dual Flight Instruction (minimum)

7 HRS R-22 Beta II Trainer Solo Flight Training (minimum)

3 HRS R-22 Beta II Trainer Dual Flight Training to prepare for the FAA Practical Test (required)

Written Logbook Endorsement to take the FAA Airman Practical Test for Private Helicopter Rating
